Hypertools hosting accounts are not defined by the amount of web space provided. We consider it misguided to provide large amounts of web space as it is rarely used. Even with graphic intensive sites it is rare to actually develop a site larger than 5Mb in size and yet it is usually a selling point to provide 100Mb of web space or more. Our policy is to share bandwidth between all client web sites rather than distribute a fixed percentage to each. This policy provides a fairer representation of traffic in the sense that large site with few users can actually use less bandwidth than single pages accessed by thousands. Providing a site is not seen to be monopolising available bandwidth then hosting charges remain at the standard rate.
